BBQ Chicken-Crescent Pizza

Crescents make an excellent stand-in for pizza crust in this quick-to-prep dinner.
Ingredient
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
- 2 cups shredded oven-roasted chicken
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
- 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley, if desired
Instructions
- Step 1Heat oven to 400°F. Place silicone baking mat on cookie sheet with sides.
- Step 2On baking mat, unroll dough into 1 large rectangle; press perforations and edges to seal. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Step 3Meanwhile, in medium bowl, place chicken and barbecue sauce. Using 2 forks, toss until chicken is coated with sauce.
- Step 4Spoon and spread chicken mixture evenly over partially baked crust. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Step 5Bake about 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Cut pizza into 8 squares. Sprinkle with parsley.
Recipe Tips
- If you don’t have a silicone baking mat, spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- For appetizer portions, cut pizza into 16 smaller squares.
